We provide cables for connecting your telescope to a computer for planetarium control or guiding, power and handbox cables, Serial to USB converters to allow cables to be used with modern laptops with no serial ports, active USB extension cables, Canon camera control cables etc...
We stock adapters for parallel guiding - the ASTGPI1, and cables to connect that to your mount, available for the standard ST-4 port or the SkySensor 2000 guider port.

Mount Control Cables...
Control your telescope from your computer or laptop - these cables can be used in conjunction with planetarium software for computer controlled 'go-to' functions. Some handsets and software also support autoguiding over ASCOM using these cables .
Made using strong thermoplastic or in the case of the 'performance' cables, tough die-cast metal DB9 shells. Cables are FCC68 data rated multi copper cored with tough black PVC outer insulation which is very lightweight and flexible and has very low resistance over relatively long distances (e.g., 20m or 65 feet) 100% reliably. Modular connectors are rounded brass contact giving excellent surface contact and high durability in plug - unplug applications.

Parallel Guiding and Guider Cables...
Astronomiser sell a Guide Port Interface that can be plugged directly into your PC or Laptop's parallel port and used to provide standard ST-4 guiding using software such as GuideDog, GuideMaster, PhD etc. The GPI also allows you to still connect a webcam to the back end of it, giving your computers parallel port a dual function.
We provide cables of varying length to connect these to your mount whether it has a standard guider input or has an SS2K-PC unit.

Parallel and serial Converters, USB extensions...
Astronomiser make a Parallel to USB camera converter kit to convert the parallel control port for a modified webcam, old style ATiK or Astronomiser CCD Camera to USB only.
The Serial to USB converter can be used with any of astronomisers products that use a serial connector, i.e., mount control cables, camera shutter cables allowing them to be used with a laptop or PC with USB ports only.
We also sell an 5m USB 2.0 active extension cables - designed to allow USB devices to be used over greater distances than the normal maximum of 5m, these can be used together to give a maximum of 20m so you can use your USB devices at a distance.

Power and Handbox Cables...
Astronomiser sell a wide range of power cables which can be connected to either a power station, a bench power supply or other sorts of 12v/ 13.8v or mains power supplies for Meade, Celestron, SkyWatcher, and Vixen mounts.
We also can provide replacement handbox cables and extensions for Meade, Celestron and SkyWatcher mounts and also for Losmandy Gemini mounts. These come as either coiled, 5m or 10m as standard.
High quality flexible cable is used for all of this range, with 'performance' connectors available for some options.

Canon Camera Control Cables...
Astronomiser make serial control cables can be used to operate your Canon Camera from your PC using software such as DSLR Focus.
We also offer a modification service to N3 remote controllers which allow them to be used with the 300D/ 350D and 400D models or alternatively, to allow the N3 connector to be used in conjunction with the standard serial control cables to control 10D, 20D, 30D and 40D cameras.
In all of the cables I use lightweight 2 core shielded cable to reduce the drag and weight on the back of the camera.
