Power...
Power cables for Meade, SkyWatcher and Vixen mounts. The SkyWatcher cables are standard 2.1mm DC connectors and suitable for a wide variety of other standard equipment used in amateur astronomy - please check with your product's manual.
All power cables are made from 6A PVC shielded cable, 3A fused Cigar Lighter plugs with a red LED signalling operation and low profile DC sockets.
Also an adapter is available to convert cables fitted with Cigar Lighter plugs to use them with Bench power supply units such as the Maplin XM21X.
Cigar Lighter Socket to Power Supply Adapter...
Use your power cables with Cigar Lighter plugs with your 240V to 13.8V (or 12V) bench power supply. Ring tongue connectors screw down on to posts fitted to most power supplies and a short cable leads to a Cigar Lighter socket. Suitable for use with supply cables fitted with all types of fused Cigar Lighter plugs, including all of those manufactured by astronomiser.

NOTE: Some owners of Celestron mounts have reported that power plugs of the correct size fall out. If you carefully use a jewellers screwdriver to slightly spread the two halves of the central pin of the socket on the mount, this will improve contact and plug retention.
