Webcam Mods...

Do you have a ToUcam Pro, Pro II or SPC900NC (ToUcam Pro III) that you would like modified for long exposures? Then this may be the service you are looking for.

I can do several different modifications to your ToUcam from a simple long exposure modification, normally referred to as an SC1, through amp-off variants to changing the CCD to a more sensitive Black and White version.

NOTE: All models of Philips webcam (ToUcam Pro, Pro II and SPC900NC) are flashed to look like a Philips SPC900NC which means they are compatible with windows Vista. All of these cameras are supplied with both the Windows Vista and XP drivers.

The Mods...

The available mods are:

• long exposure
• amp-off
• air cooling
• re-housing
• change CCD for B&W ICX098BL
• serial control

Some of these mods require others for them to operate correctly, i.e., amp-off requires long exposure and benefits from air cooling and re-housing.

These cameras are normally supplied with a parallel connection, although serial versions are also available.

I will also modify any model of Philips Vesta Pro and the Logitech QuickCam Pro 3000.

Pricing...

These costs are based on you supplying the camera and include return postage via Special Delivery, insured for the full value of the camera. The camera is normally returned within 48 hours of receipt or when the cheque has cleared if paying by cheque (three working days after the day of receipt - cheques should be made payable to 'Andy Ellis'). Please include an email address or phone number and I will confirm receipt. Do not forget to include a note of the required modification and return address.

From the pricing below, you will see that for a ToUcam Pro PCVC740K (in a cream egg shell case) the cost of the mods is the same as the SPC900NC. If you are sending one of these cameras, when going through the payment process, please mention the camera model in the 'Notes' box.

If you send the camera before making payment via the PayPal Cart system, please note that the camera will be returned only after payment is made and may take longer to return as the job can only be scheduled after payment is received.
